With all the curling news from both sides of the border, I forgot to mention I am now a TA! My dreams have finally come true. I've wanted to be a TA for a long time and I can also use the extra money. I'll be mainly marking for the new Engineering Communications Program curriculum. It's called Praxis, consisting of 4 courses (modules), which is an integrative approach to combining engineering communications with the other courses. EngSci's are part of this new thing too, with the phasing out of ESC300. I'll be marking for the 2nd year Chem Eng class. Do I have time to do this? Probably not. But I need the money and it'll give me some TAing experience which can help me land future TAing jobs in courses that interest me more.
