iszy: we stayed in D - two teams went 4-1. but i didn't want to move up. we would have gotten slaughtered in C. shang and hai are improving nicely and an easier draw will be helpful. plus, i need to play better. but i do want to move up after draw 2. i'll go out on a limb and predict a 4-1 record, but with my shitty curling, it could easily be 1-4. i'm looking forward to the game against leblanc, a div C dropout. we always beat them.

in other news, i went to a conference on friday and saturday. quite long days, but the food was good. michy is also returning to the ice today to get some ice time during a learn to curl session. i hope she'll be ready to spiel this saturday when she gets back.
