Men's Playoff Draw Game 2
Levis (Blue) vs Reynolds (Red)

Ends 1&2: iszy tosses the penny and we lose hammer. sheet 1 and it was immediately noticed that it was very slow ice. we had a great wall of china, just like the mixed game against hooper. icky manages to get a draw into the house and that rock ended up counting for a steal. they take 1 in end 2 to tie.

Ends 3&4: ichy had a simple draw to the 12 foot for 3 and makes it. they come back with 2.

Ends 5&6: end 5 featured a nice draw by icky then a nice hit my ichy on his first. reynolds could not draw to the pocket with his last, leaving ichy a hit and stick for 3. perfect execution leaves us up 7-3. end 6 had shades of the end 6 against marianchuk a few weeks back where we had a comfortable lead and let it slip away. after an unfortunate peel on a guard that jammed into the house, removing our shot stone by ikey, icky fails to draw into the house. ichy couldn't do much with his two and reynolds was left with a wide draw for 4. he gets into the heavy ice and comes short. we hang on to a 1 point lead.

Ends 7& 8: end 7 was pretty clean and ichy threw his through to blank. the last end featured two perfect guards by reynold's lead and two throw throughs by iszy, although he manages to hog one of them. really! reynold's second makes two perfect come arounds to sit fully buried. ikey manages two peels on the guard. a mistake by reynold's vice (a guard that did not guard their two rocks) left icky with a double takeout. he makes it to sit 1. on his next, icky convinces ichy to peel the guard. iszy, ikey, and icky all disliked his first call, a draw behind the guard. icky throws an "oh shit" shot that manages to just get the peel. reynolds freezes to my rock on the top 4. ichy tries to draw but is short and overcurls. reynolds tries a nose hit on theirs onto ours to sit 2. not quite nose and he splits the rocks. ichy is left with either a draw to the 8 foot or a hit and roll. he elects the latter and gets a tiny roll. was it enough? we secured a tie at least, but we go to the measure. most people thought it was red, including me, but the measure showed it was clearly one blue. we take the game 8-6 and move to 2-1 in this draw.
