Team Martin update:

Two weeks have passed since the start of league play. Both Team Martin mens and mixed are 1-1 after facing tough opening matches where we were clearly the underdog. However, the mixed team bounced back with a win last week and the mens team systematically dismantled Team Hagarty 13-0 in 6 ends. Our last shutout came two seasons ago, when we managed an amazing two goose eggs against the opposition. Game three of mens action goes tomorrow against Team McCoy, with us in need of a victory to keep pace with the leaders. Ritchie sits atop div A at 2-0 (but they still have yet to play the three toughest opponents), followed by Shepherd (who still needs to play the two weakest opponents, ie guaranteed victories) and Gosselin at 1-0-1, Martin at 1-1 and McCoy and Hagarty at an expected 0-2.
